Congresswoman Sue Myrick announced today that she will NOT be running for Governor in 2008. This comes as a surprise to many, including your's truly, given that she was one of just a few credible candidates for the race.

One has to wonder whether Myrick is really out of the running is simply putting this on the back-burner until after her 2006 election. Time will tell.
